Napa Valley Naturals' humble beginnings go way back to the early 1970's. Founder Kendall Cook, a fifth generation Californian, moved to the Napa Valley as a young boy where he was raised on his parents' five acre organic vegetable farm near Rutherford, home of great Cabernet Sauvignon.

Kendall started selling produce at an early age. He would ride his bicycle to local farm stands to buy garlic braids, pumpkins and ornamental corn, and resold them each year at local harvest festivals. As a teen, his brother and he ran their own fruit stand on the Napa Valley's famed Hwy. 29, just down the street from their family farm, where they now grow Cabernet grapes.

In the mid 1990's Kendall started Napa Valley Trading Co. selling a variety of organic foods from the back of his pickup truck to natural food stores and co-ops throughout Northern California. He eventually created the Napa Valley Naturals brand of California olive oils, first bottled in his parent's garage in recycled wine bottles.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil soon became his best-selling item. French, Italian, and Spanish culinary oils and vinegars now round out the line, all meeting the highest quality standards.
